Absorb creek sounds with firepit & hot tub overlooking water. Relaxing & invigorating. Fishing, hiking, waterfalls & lake nearby. 12 min to town with cafes, shops, breweries & activities. Smoky Mountains at its best. Fast and reliable internet from Starlink. This spacious 3 bed/2 bath sleeps 10 adults. There are 2 levels to the house that are accessible and available to all guests. The entire home is available to you except the basement. No one lives there but it has a separate entrance and is not setup to offer the top notch 5-star experience like the rest of the house. There are 2 separate areas to park. Multiple cars and motorcycles can fit comfortably, as well as trailers. You do NOT need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to the house or to park in the driveways.

Franklin, North Carolina is famous for hiking, fishing, driving and beautiful mountain scenery year round. It offers country mountain roads, abundant fishing, gem mining and a small town feel with amenities galore. The "downtown" part of Franklin has supermarkets, shops, cafes, breweries, arcade, movie theater, and more. Creekside Basecamp is just 13 minutes away from town and situated on a paved mountain road (NC scenic byway) surrounded by nothing but trees and water so you'll be fully immersed in nature. Sonos speakers placed throughout the house are connected to an iPad so you can stream music. Stream TV or we have hundreds of DVDs and board games to choose from. Upon booking you'll get access to 2 welcome guidebooks with details, instructions and tips for the house and the Western North Carolina area. DOGS
Larger trained dogs are allowed. Please contact me with the weight, breed and age of your dog to confirm pet accommodations and fees. This is not a typical cabin in the woods. It's clean. It's fresh. It's recently renovated and nicely furnished. It's close to town (10-15 minutes) and feels very private. Hike directly across the street from the property or drive a couple minutes up the road to see beautiful waterfalls and trails (details included in the guidebook).

Do you have EV charging stations?
We do not have EV chargers at the house but there are a handful of charging locations within 15 minutes. You may also plug-in your vehicle to an outdoor outlet at the house.
Are food delivery services available?
Yes, Door Dash is available for meal delivery service to Creekside Basecamp in Franklin, NC. If you'd like to skip the grocery run on arrival day, Ingles Supermarket offers online ordering. We're happy to pick up your order and bring it to the house (small service fee applies). Just message us ahead of time to set it up.
What is the pet policy?
We allow large dogs. The pet fee is $240 for up to 2 dogs. Please let us know if you have more than 2 dogs. Please contact us with the breed, age and weight of your dog(s) prior to booking if you are unsure if your dog fits the criteria.
Will we have the property to ourselves?
Yes, the house is entirely yours to enjoy during your stay. There are no shared spaces with other guests. The basement (which is only accessible from the outside) remains empty and locked at all times (i.e. you do not have access to the basement but the main level and upper level offer plenty of room to stretch out, relax and feel at home).

How do you clean between guests?
We take cleanliness seriously at Creekside Basecamp. Between every guest, we give the entire place a top-to-bottom deep clean. Every surface gets sanitized and wiped down, bathrooms are thoroughly disinfected and scrubbed until they sparkle, and all floors are vacuumed to perfection. We wash and sanitize all linens, towels, and blankets so everything feels fresh and hotel-crisp. Your beds will be made with clean sheets, and you'll arrive to a spotless space that's ready for you to relax and unwind.
What's the parking setup and do I need 4-wheel drive to get to the house?
You definitely don't need 4-wheel drive to reach Creekside Basecamp - any regular car can make it just fine. We've got plenty of parking with two spacious driveways that can easily fit several cars and motorcycles, plus there's even a spot for RVs if you're bringing the big rig. There's turnaround space for a trailer. You'll find all the detailed parking info in your welcome guidebook once you book. Easy access, plenty of space - we've got you covered.

We absolutely loved our stay at Creekside. My girlfriends and I came for some much-needed R&R, and this cabin was perfect for a peaceful getaway. It was beautifully appointed, the hot tub was fantastic, and the whole environment felt soothing to the soul. The bedrooms were spacious with lovely bedding, and the Ninja coffee maker with Caribou coffee was a delightful highlight. The remote location made it wonderfully quiet, yet we were still close enough to enjoy the charming shops and fun restaurants in nearby Franklin. Highly recommend!
This house is a gem, very secluded yet close to breweries and restaurants in Franklin as well as several great hikes and other outdoor activities. My friends and I were impressed and would certainly book again.
The attention to detail in this place was amazing! The location was even better than the photos. Beds are comfortable and everything you could possibly need is provided. We will be back!

Imagine yourself, relaxing in a hot tub with the roaring sound of two creeks converging, staring up at a beautiful starlit sky, and being surrounded by the magic of the Natahala forest….. then you open your eyes and realize it’s not a dream. Truly magical place to stay. Damien was very thoughtful on every detail of the cabin. Whether you use the cabin as a base camp for the week to go exploring or simply want to kick back and relax and not go anywhere everything was there you needed. So close to many wonderful hikes to go see waterfalls or expansive lookouts of the smokies. I truly appreciate Damiens communication and promptness We will definitely be back to enjoy this Creekside getaway
Best Host Ever & A Truly Unforgettable Stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I traveled all the way from Kuwait, then drove over 17 hours from New York to get here – and let me tell you, every mile was worth it! The house is absolutely beautiful, with two rivers right in front of it. The sound of the flowing water and the peaceful atmosphere made this place feel like paradise. The home was spotless, fully equipped, and had everything we needed. Damien went above and beyond with thoughtful touches and clear communication every step of the way. He truly cares about his guests and makes sure you feel at home. This is by far the best place I’ve ever stayed and the most amazing host I’ve ever met. This is the one! Book it! Trade the sound of rushing traffic for the sound of a creek rushing. This home is beautifully nestled into the native foliage and a swift creek. Immaculate inside, spacious with lots of natural light and very tastefully and comfortably appointed. This home is very clean and well maintained. In the mornings we enjoyed our coffee on the deck, in the evening we enjoyed our wine there as well. We celebrated birthdays while we were there. The host had beautiful birthday balloons waiting for our arrival. The host is an excellent communicator. Everything you need is there. The best air bnb we’ve stayed in yet!
My family group of cousins had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in and when we noticed a crack in the coffee carafe, the host was quick to deliver a new one. Damien was always responsive and catered to our needs. We loved the beautiful area and would love to come back! Damien has a beautiful place!
Beautiful secluded location!! Creek was a lot of fun for the kids and the entire trip was relaxing and peaceful. Lots of rules but we understand why they are in place! Host was great to work with and we had no problems overall. We appreciate we could bring one of dogs- made the trip feel more at home and welcoming. This was such a great memory- thanks for letting us stay!
